Removing and installing/replacing side panel on dashboard on left or right

Special tools required:

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Removal:

Carefully unclip side panel (1) with special tool 00 9 327.

If necessary, unlock associated plug connection and disconnect.

Feed out side panel (1) and remove.

Release trim (1) from clips (2) and feed out from edge protection.

Installation:

Feed in trim (1) on edge protection and clip into clips (2).

If necessary, connect and lock any associated plug connection.

Mount side panel (1) and engage in the detent.
