Removing and installing or replacing trim for roof pillar at front (A-pillar), left or right

WARNING: Vehicles with head airbags:
Read and comply with SAFETY REGULATIONS for working on vehicles with airbag systems.

IMPORTANT: Do not use any sharp-edged tools to remove the trim panels (risk of damage to head airbag).

Removal:

Release trim panel (1) from clips (2) and detach upwards out of clamp (3).

Unlock and disconnect associated plug connections, according to the equipment.

Replacement (depending on equipment):

Remount TWEETER .

Installation:

Preassemble clips (2) and clamp (3) on trim panel (1).

Guides (4) must not be damaged, replace trim panel (1) if required.

Feed in and engage trim panel (1).

Make sure that it is seated correctly on edge protection (2).
