Removing and installing/replacing door window glass, front left or right

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove SOUND INSULATION  on front door.
• Remove outer window CHANNEL STRIP .

Removal: 

Shift door window glass until the stop of the stand can be accessed via the recess (1) on the guide rails.

Operate the stop of the stand (1) in front and rear with a suitable tool and feed out the door window glass upwards.

Installation: 

Feed in the door window glass and rubber window seal into the door and engage into the stop of the stand (1).

Ensure detent of the door window glass in area (1) is properly fastened.

Connect connector (2).

Required reworking: 

• Carry out functional check on power electric windows and crush guard
• Install outer window CHANNEL STRIP .
• Install the SOUND INSULATION  in the front door
