Removing and installing/replacing rear model designation

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 322

Attention! 

The NOTES  on bonding components serve as the basis for these repair instructions and must be followed without fail.

Removal: 

Heat model designation (1) using hot air blower and carefully lever out using special tool 00 9 322.

Installation:

Mark position of model designation with adhesive tape using dimensions (A and B).

A= 95 mm

B= 140 mm

Detach liner* off model designation.

Position model designation horizontally at mark and bond on.

*The liner is the protective film on the new model designation.

A= 40 mm

B = 300 mm

C= 95 mm

Detach liner* off model designation.

Position model designation horizontally at mark and bond on.
