Detaching and attaching/replacing rear MINI plate (on left split door)
Special tools required:
- 00 9 322
IMPORTANT:
The NOTES on component bonding with double-sided adhesive tape serve as the basis for this repair instruction and must be observed without fail.
Removal:
Heat MINI plaque (1) with hot air blower and carefully lever out with special tool 00 9 322.
Installation:
Mark position of MINI plate (1) using adhesive tape as per dimension (A and B).
A= 85 mm
B= 100 mm
Detach liner* off MINI plate (1).
Position MINI plate (1) horizontally at mark and bond on.
* Liner is the protective film on a new MINI plaque.
