Replacing powertrain with transmission for operating sliding/tilting sunroof (Cooper)

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with NOTES on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection)!

Preliminary work needed:

Removal:

Unscrew the screws (1).

Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.

Remove electric motor (3).

Replacement:

Installation:

Connect plug connection (2) and lock.

Correctly position drive (3).

Tighten down screws (1).
