Removing and installing/replacing front left sensor (US version only) (Cooper)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Disconnect cable from BATTERY EARTH LEAD
• Remove the front left HEADLIGHTS .

Removal: 

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release screw (2) and remove sensor.

Installation: 

Correctly position the sensor and tighten the screw (2).

Tightening torque 65 77 2AZ .

Connect and lock plug connection (1).

Required reworking: 

• Install the front left HEADLIGHTS .
• Connect BATTERY GROUND LEAD .
