Replace the tank vent valve (Cooper)
IMPORTANT:
Read and comply with NOTES
on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection).
Preliminary work needed :
- Remove ACOUSTIC COVER .
Removal:
Unlock connector (I) and detach.
Unlock tank vent line (2) and disconnect.
Unlock tank vent line (3) on throttle body and disconnect.
Detach tank vent valve (4) from holder and remove.
Installation :
Attach connector (1).
Connector (1) must engage audibly.
Plug in tank vent line (2).
Tank vent line (2) must snap audibly into place.
Connect tank vent line (3).
Tank vent line (3) must snap audibly into place.
Fasten tank venting valve (4) to the holder.
Required follow-up work:
- Install ACOUSTIC COVER .
