Removing and installing/replacing lower rollover protection trim panel (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Open soft top

Removal: 

Lever out and remove covers (1).

Release expanding rivet (2).

Unscrew the screws (1).

Unclip cover (2) carefully from the upper trim panel and remove downwards.

Installation  :

Install cover (2) and clip in on the top trim panel.

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 46 1AZ .

Install covers (1).

Mount expanding rivets (2).

Required follow-up work: 

• Close soft top.
