• 64 1 020 
• 00 9 030 

Important: 

Read and comply with notes on protection AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DAMAGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Important: 

Risk of damage!

Do not scratch glass pane of head-up display.

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove TRIM FOR HEAD-UP DISPLAY .
• Connect diagnostic system

Removal: 

Fold out service flap (1) in arrow direction.

Open the lock (1) in arrow direction on both sides with special tool 00 9 030.

Bring the combination disc (1) into the service position (B) using the diagnostic system.

Feed the combination disc (1) out of the Head-Up Display (2) in arrow direction.

Installation: 

Feed the combination disc (1) into the Head-Up

Display (2) in arrow direction.

Break-in the combination disc (1) in the Head-Up Display using the diagnostic system.

Close the lock (1) in arrow direction on both sides with special tool 00 9 030.

Close service cover (1) in arrow direction.

Required follow-up work: 

• Installing the TRIM FOR THE HEAD-UP DISPLAY .
