Remove the front outside door handle

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

After removing the cover, undo screw (1) as far as necessary so that the outside door handle can be slackened.

Pull the outside door handle (1) and feed out the locking plate (2) and remove.

Pull the outside door handle (1) towards the rear and feed it out.
If necessary, unlock and disconnect the respective plug connections and remove the outside door handle (1).
