61 35 080 Removing and installing/replacing control unit/module for left or right seat adjustment (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) !

NOTE: To facilitate installation/removal of control unit, shift seat upwards and to the rear fully.

Removal:

Release sheet metal tabs (1) at side and remove control unit for seat adjustment (2) from guide (3) in arrow direction.

Unlock and detach all connectors (1) from control unit for seat adjustment (2).

Installation:

Connect all connectors (1) to control unit for seat adjustment (2).

Fit control unit for seat adjustment (2) into guide (3) in arrow direction.

Sheet metal tabs (1) must latch into place at side.

Installation note:

Check for correct seating of control unit for seat adjustment (2) in holder.

Guide (3) and sheet metal tabs (1) may not be damaged.

Replacement:
