Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove right REAR SEAT .

Removal: 

Unclip covers (1).

Detach the trim (1) from the clamp (2).

Unclip cover (1).

Detach the loop (1) from the lever (2).

Unscrew the screws (1).

Unclip trim (2) to rear.

Unclip the seat cover (1) from the trim (2).

Detach lugs (1) on the seat mechanism.

Slightly fold the seat cover (1) to the side.

Pull out lug in the area (A).

Release fixture (1).

Detach the welt (2) from the seat mechanism.

Remove the seat cover and the upholstery from the seat mechanism.

Loosen clamps (1).

Loosen all clamps on the trim wires.

Remove seat cover from upholstery.

Remove remaining clamps from cover and upholstery.

Replacement only: 

• Push trim wires into new seat cover
• If necessary, cut in mounting for trim wires of new cover

Installation: 

Installation note: 

Insert new clamps with special tool 52 0 050.

1. Upholstery
2. Clamp
3. Trim wire in upholstery
4. Trim wire in seat cover
5. Seat cover

Secure the seat cover to the trim wires using clamps.

Fix clamps (1).

Position the seat cover and the upholstery on the seat mechanism.

Attach the welt (2) to the seat mechanism.

Fasten clip (1).

Slightly fold the seat cover (1) to the side.

Feed in lug in the area (A) towards the inside.

Clip in the seat cover (1) into the trim (2).
