Remounting the rear power window switch

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVE TWEETER FROM THE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE DECORATIVE RING ON THE INNER DOOR OPENER .
• Refer to REMOVING THE INNER DOOR OPENER .

• Press cover (1) in marked area toward the bottom.
• Remove the cover (1) towards the top.

• Loosen screw (1).

• Lift the power window switch (1) out of the armrest (2) in arrow direction using special tool  0 496 571 (00 9 327)  .

  Unlock plug connection underneath and disconnect.

• Check clips, which must not be damaged or missing.

• Connect associated connector.
• Feed power window switch (1) into the armrest (2) and clip in.

  Ensure correct fit of the power window switch (1) in the armrest (2).

• Tighten down screw (1).

• Mount the cover (1).
