51 34 211 Replacing rubber seal for rear left or right door window (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove WINDOW FRAME TRIM OF THE REAR DOOR .

Removal: 

Release rubber window seal (1) from detents (2) and seal (3).

Pull out rubber window seal (1) from door.

Detach rubber window seal (1) at the rear outwards.

Feed out rubber window seal (1) from trim (2) upwards.

Detach rubber window seal (1) from door frame.

Installation: 

Mount rubber window seal (1) on door window frame.

To facilitate installation, coat rubber window seal (1) with lubricant.

Feed in rubber window seal (1) into trim (2) from the top.

Feed in rubber window seal (1) into door.

Connect rubber window seal (1) at the rear from the outside.

Secure rubber window seal (1) to door using detents (2).

Feed rubber window seal (1) over seal (3).

Check that the rubber window seal (1) is correctly fitted on the door.
