Remove front door window glass
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Secure the door window glass to the door frame when it is closed using adhesive tape.
- Spread both holders (1) on the door window glass simultaneously using the special tools 0 496 569 (00 9 325) until it is possible to detach the side window glass.
- Operate the power electric windows to shift it approximately 10 cm down and thereby detach the holders (1) from the door window glass.
- Shift the power window fully downwards.
- Remove the adhesive tape and the special tool.
- Guide door window glass out of door.
