51 71 040 Removing and installing/replacing front left or right wheel arch cover (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Preliminary work needed:

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, shown with removed front axle.

Removal:

Release expanding rivet (1).

Slacken nut (2).

Release screws (arrow).

Loosen the clip (3) and feed out the wheel arch cover (4).

Installation:

Feed in wheel arch cover (4).

Tighten the bolts (arrow).

Tighten nut (2).

Secure the clip (4) and the expanding rivets (1).
