13 90 500 Replace the tank vent valve

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removal:

Unlock connector (1) and pull off.

Unlock tank ventilation line (2) and disconnect.

Unlock tank ventilation line (3) on throttle body and disconnect.

Detach tank vent valve (4) from bracket and remove.

Installation:

Attach connector (1).

Connector (1) must engage audibly.

Plug in tank ventilation line (2).

Tank ventilation line (2) must snap audibly into place.

Connect tank ventilation line (3).

Tank ventilation line (3) must snap audibly into place.

Fasten tank venting valve (4) to the holder.
