General information on breaking in new brake discs/brake pads (Cooper Convertible)
IMPORTANT:
After completing work:
- Carry out functional check on brake analyzer (test stand) to ensure that the brakes comply with legal requirements.
- Carry out test braking while driving at low speed; the effectiveness of the brakes may be reduced during the brake slowly operations.
- Exaggerated drastic and continuous braking operations for faster breaking in are not permitted.
- Advise the customer not to perform any wilful drastic braking in the first 200 km after brake replacement.
- Attach interior mirror tag to inside mirror.
