REP-TAT-P-5218-25 When replacing the backrest frame: Remount components
Remove operating unit for backrest release
- Move the operating unit (1) in arrow direction and feed out Bowden cable (2).
NOTE:
To provide a better overview: Schematic diagram with partially hidden components.
- Drill out the blind rivets (1).
- Feed out the operating unit (2) towards the front.
- Unclip Bowden cable (1) from the holder (2) and feed out from the operating unit (3).
Remove the support
- Drill out the blind rivet (1).
- Loosen the detents (2).
- Feed out support (3) from the backrest frame (4).
Removing the head restraint guides
- Unlock the detents (1).
- Feed out head restraint guides (2) upwards from the backrest frame (3).
Remove lumbar support
- Detach lumbar support (3) from the holders (1) and backrest frame (2).
- Cover working area and drill out blind rivet (1).
- Remove adjuster (2) and take it out with the Bowden cable from the backrest frame.
Install lumbar support
- Insert the adjuster (2) with Bowden cable in the backrest frame.
- Replace the blind rivets (1).
Parts: Blind rivet
- Secure adjuster (2) with the blind rivet (1) on the backrest frame.
- Attach lumbar support (3) in holders (1) and backrest frame (2).
Installing the head restraint guide
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The head restraint guides are not identical in construction.

- Ensure that the headrest guide (2) is installed on the left side with the lock for head restraint when facing the direction of travel.
- Insert the head restraint guides (2) correctly from the top in the backrest frame (3).
The detents (1) must engage audibly.
Install support
- Position the support (3) correctly on the backrest frame (4).
- Engage the detents (2).
- Replace the blind rivets (1).
Parts: Blind rivet
- Secure the support (3) with the blind rivets (1) on the backrest frame (4).
Install operating unit for backrest release
- Correctly position Bowden cable (1) on the operating unit (3) and clip it into the holder (2).
- Correctly position the operating unit (2).

- Secure the operating unit (2) with blind rivets (1).
- Move the operating unit (1) in arrow direction and insert Bowden cable (2).
