Removing and installing (replacing) left decorative strip on dashboard (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed  :

• Remove INSTRUMENT CLUSTER .
• Remove left center FRESH AIR GRILLE .

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Removal  :

Take out and remove the decorative strip (1) on the attachment points (2).

Installation: 

Engage decorative strip (1) on the attachment points (2).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install INSTRUMENT CLUSTER .
• Install left center FRESH AIR GRILLE .
