Replacing trim for front roofliner (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Open soft top
• Remove the ROOF FUNCTION CENTER .

Removal  :

Detach sun visor from counter bearing (1).

Lever out cover on counter bearing (1) and release screw underneath.

Remove counter supports (1).

Unclip the trim (1) from the clips (2) downwards and remove it.

Installation:

Attach trim (1) and clip into clips (2).

Install the counter bearing (1) and tighten the screw.

Tightening torque 51 16 15AZ .

Engage cover.

Attach the sun visor in the counter bearing.

Required follow-up work  :

• Install the ROOF FUNCTION CENTER .
• Close soft top.
