Removing and installing/replacing side trim panel, footwell, on A-pillar, right (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove front right (inner) door sill COVER STRIP 

Removal: 

Detach edge protection (1) in area of side trim panel (3).

Detach the side trim panel (3) inwards from the clips (2).

Feed out side trim panel (3).

Release fixtures (2) from the body and insert clips into the side trim panel (3).

Installation: 

Clips (1) for the side trim panel (2) must not be damaged.

Clip in side trim panel (1).

Make sure edge protection (2) is correctly seated.

• Install front right (inner) door sill COVER STRIP
