Removing and installing/replacing inner window cavity cover strip for door window, rear left or right (Cooper Convertible)

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 317

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove rear side TRIM PANEL .
• Remove outer window CHANNEL STRIP .

Removal: 

Lever out catches (1) on inner window cavity cover strip (2).

Carefully lever out window cavity cover strip (1) with special tool 00 9 317 towards top.

Installation:

Attach inner window channel strip (1), align and fit it onto the connecting bracket (2).

Engage inner window channel strip (2) into the detents (1).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install rear TRIM PANEL .
• Install outer window CHANNEL STRIP .
