Removing and installing/replacing the power electric windows in the left or right front door (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove front door WINDOW GLASS .

Removal: 

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Loosen the cable from the holder (2).

Loosen the nuts (3) and remove the power window (4) from the door.

Replacement: 

Remount FLAT MOTOR .

Installation: 

Insert the power window (4) into the door.

Tighten down nuts (3).

Tightening torque 51 33 1AZ .

Attach the cable to the holder (2).

Connect plug connection (1).

Required reworking: 

• Install front door WINDOW GLASS .
