Removing and installing/replacing flywheel (B36 engine) (Cooper base): Removal

Special tools required: 

• 11 9 811
• 11 9 265
• 11 4180
• 009120

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION . (Vehicles with automatic transmission) 
• REMOVE clutch. (Vehicles with manual gearbox) 

Vehicles with manual transmission: 

Secure flywheel with transmission bolt (1) and special tool 11 9 811/11 9 265.

Release flywheel bolts using special tool 11 4 180.

Vehicles with automatic transmission: 

Secure flywheel with transmission bolt (1) and special tool 11 9 811/11 9 265.

Unfasten flywheel bolts.
