Removing and installing the wiring harness - section for the supply unit module (B48, B46) (Cooper S Convertible)
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove BATTERY .
- Remove the left WINDSHIELD PANEL COVER .
Removal:
Remove screw (1).
Remove equipment holder (1) from the battery plate in arrow direction and slightly pull it to the front.
Unclip and remove cover (1).
Unlock and disconnect all connectors (1) on control unit.
Remove partition wall (1).
Unlock and detach all connectors (2) from power distribution box (1).

| Unlock and detach the connector from supply unit | |
| Release grounding cable on engine block | Tightening torque 12 52 5AZ . |
Release wiring harness from clips and guard controls.
Feed out wiring harness and remove.
Installation:
Route and install wiring harness.
Plug in all connectors as specified in table.
All connectors must audibly engage.
Plug in all connectors (2) to the power distribution box (1).
All connectors must audibly engage.
Connect all connectors (1) to control unit.
All connectors (1) must engage audibly.
Installation note:
Connect connectors from front to rear.
Insert equipment holder (1) into rear section of battery plate (2) in arrow direction.
Tighten screw (1).
Tightening torque 12 90 1AZ .
Install cover (1).
Install partition wall (1).
Required follow-up work:
- Install BATTERY .
- Install the left WINDSHIELD PANEL COVER .
