Attaching the convertible top to the convertible top storage tray

Heavy components can lead to injury or damage.

Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons

Set special tool 0 496 458 (54 3 300) onto special tool 0 490 133 (00 2 030) and fasten.
Screw special tool 2 444 882 A and B tight onto special tool 0 496 458 (54 3 300) to 10 Nm.
Pay attention to the left and right side. The outside of special tool 2 444 882 A and B must be flush with special tool 0 496 458 (54 3 300).

Insert special tool 0 494 940 (54 3 184) left and right.
Screw special tool 2 444 882 C and D tight onto special tool 0 494 940 (54 3 184) to 20 Nm.

Attach the convertible top using the special tool 0 496 323 (54 3 240) to the bolts (1) and secure it with the bolt (2.)
Tighten the nuts on the bolts (1.)

Position the convertible top on the left and right of the special tool 2 444 882 and secure it with the bolt (1.)
