Removing and installing belt feed cover (Cooper)

Preliminary work needed  :

• Remove REAR SEAT .
• Reposition rear backrest
• Remove the TRIM PANEL  for the top rollover protection.

Removal: 

Lever out the seat belt finisher strip (1) towards the top.

Remove screw (1).

Remove end lining (2).

Remove the seat belt strap (1) from the seat belt finisher strip (2).

Installation: 

Insert the seat belt strap (1) into the seat belt finisher strip (2).

Mount end lining (2).

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 72 11 22AZ .

Position and lock the seat belt finisher strip (1).

Required reworking  :

• Install the TRIM PANEL  for the top rollover protection.
• Fold back the rear seat backrest
• Install REAR SEAT .
