61 33 040 Removing and installing/replacing a fanfare horn

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove front bumper cover

Removal:

Fanfare horn on top holder: 

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Release nut (2) and feed out fanfare horn (3).

Fanfare horn on bottom holder: 

Release nut (1) and feed out fanfare horn (2).

Unlock and disconnect associated connector.

Installation: 

Fanfare horn on top holder: 

Join fanfare horn (3) and tighten with nut (2).

Tightening torque 61 33 2AZ.

Connect the connector (1).

Fanfare horn on bottom holder: 

Connect associated connector.

Join fanfare horn (2) and tighten with nut (1).

Tightening torque 61 33 2AZ.
