52 15 050 Remove or install left or right thigh support from/on the front seat (sport seat)

IMPORTANT:
  • Microencapsulated screws must be coated with Loctite if they are to be reused
  • Screw connection must be completed within 20 min. (start of hardening)
  • Microencapsulated screws must not  be retightened
  • Thread of nut must be cleaned beforehand in event of repeated use

Removal: 

Adjust thigh support (1) towards the front.

Lever out welt (2) of seat cover out of bracket (3).

Release screws (1).

Detach thigh support (2) towards the front and remove.

Version with seat heating only: 

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Remove thigh support (2).

Installation: 

Version with seat heating only: 

Position thigh support (2) and connect connector (1).

Feed in thigh support (1) with guides (2) into corresponding openings on seat frame (3).

Tighten down screws (1).

Attach welt (2) of seat cover in bracket (3).
