52 13 043 Remove and install or replace outer cover on left or right front seat

Special tools required:

2 298 505

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove LEVER FOR SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT on front seat

Removal:

Carefully lever out relay lever (1) from front seat by means of special tool 2 298 505 .

Feed out relay lever (1) in area (A).

Release screws (1).

Release screw (2) from bottom.

Feed out cover (3) from guides (4) in forward direction.

Detach tensioning strap (1) from cover (2).

Installation:

Attach tensioning strap (1) to the cover (2).

Slide in cover (3) from front into the guides (4).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tighten screw (2) from bottom.

Attach relay lever (1) in area (A).

Connect relay lever (1) to the shaft of the backrest.
