63 99 451 Replacing light bulb for luggage compartment lighting

WARNING: Follow SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS for handling light bulbs (interior lighting).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT

NOTE: LED technology lights must be completely replaced.

Removal:

Release headlight lens cover (1) at latch mechanisms (2) on both sides.

Remove headlight lens cover (1) from luggage compartment light (3) in direction of arrow.

Push out and remove the bulb (1) from the bulb socket with a suitable tool (e.g. screwdriver with 3 mm blade) in the direction of the arrow.

Installation:

NOTE: Note BULB TYPE .

Join the bulb (1) and the bulb socket in the opposite direction to the direction of the arrow.

Check headlight lens cover (1) before fitting.

If necessary, carefully press together both side tabs a little in direction of arrow.

Join lens cover (1) to luggage compartment light (3) opposite to direction of arrow.

NOTE: Make sure lens cover (1) is correctly seated and engaged (2).
