Removing and installing/replacing tank cover on left or right (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed: 

Required on the left side only:

• Remove left TRAILING LINK .

Removal  :

Left side  :

Unscrew all bolts.

Remove tank cover (2).

Right side  :

Unscrew the screws (1).

Remove tank cover (2).

Installation: 

Left side  :

Put on tank cover (2).

Tighten down all screws.

Tightening torque 51 71 11AZ .

Right side: 

Put on tank cover (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 71 11AZ .

Required follow-up work:

• Install the left TENSION STRUT
