Replace Rear Left Or Right Outer Wheel Arch Section (Rear Quarter Panel Removed), Partial Replacement (Cooper, Cooper S, John Cooper Works)

Follow procedure for REPAIR STAGE 3 .

The following new parts are required (see Electronic Parts Catalog):

Removal

Remove cavity sealing (1).

Open welded connections in area (1).

Mark and perform separating cut (2) according to the dimension and the schematic diagram.

Measurement a = approximately 20 mm from radius.

Remove part of the outer wheel arch section.

New part preparation

Mark severance cut on new part according to severance cut on vehicle + 20 mm material extra and cut.

Adjust new parts in combination with side wall to fit and secure.

Prepare the new part for joining by welding in this area (1).

Installation

Install new part and weld in area (1).

Apply sealant to CAVITY SEALING (1). Install cavity sealing.
