REP-TAT-P-5434-02 Installing the convertible top brace bearing

Follow-up work 

• Close LOADING AID 

• Insert the convertible top brace bearing (4).
• Screw in screws (1), (2) and (3), do not tighten yet.
• Align the convertible top brace bearing (4) with the highlighted attachment points.
• Tighten down screws (1) and (2).

  Convertible top brace bearing to body

  Hexagon screw

  Replace screw.

  Joining torque

  20.5 Nm

  Angle of rotation  90°

  Torx bolt

  Replace screw.

  Joining torque

  9.5 Nm

  Angle of rotation  90°

• Tighten down screw (3).

  Convertible top brace to convertible top brace support

  Replace screw.

  Joining torque

  9.5 Nm

  Angle of rotation  90°

• Insert the protective cap (1).

• Right side only: 

Clip in the connector (2) into the convertible top brace bearing (3).

Connect connector (1).
