Removing and installing soft top wiring harness (Cooper Convertible)
NOTE:
If the wiring harness is only partly damaged, only a new complete wiring harness should be used also for partial repairs.
Make sure the wiring harness is installed and secured correctly!

Preliminary work needed:
- Remove COMPLETE SOFT TOP .
- Set soft top down on soft top holders and open
Unlock and disconnect the plug connections (1 and 2).
Unclip cable tie holder (3).
Unclip cable tie holder (1).
Cut open cable tie (1).
Carefully feed soft top wiring harness (2) out of soft top frame.
Installation note:
- Replace all cable ties.
- Make sure soft top wiring harness is correctly routed
- Do not twist or kink soft top wiring harness.
- Make sure that entire wiring harness is not clamped in soft top linkage or joints.
- Soft top wiring harness must not be under tension.
- Carry out FUNCTIONAL CHECK .
