Removing and installing/replacing trim strip on engine compartment lid (cowl panel) (Cooper Convertible)
Removal:
IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage!
Do not bend trim strip (1) and chrome strip (2) during disassembly.
Do not bend trim strip (1) and chrome strip (2) during disassembly.
Apply the adhesive tape on the front compartment lid below the trim strip (1).
Carefully detach the trim strip (1) from the hood compartment lid in the arrow direction.
Installation:
Engage trim strip (1).
