Replacing the emergency battery for the telematics control module in the vehicle interior (behind the glove compartment) (after vehicle diagnosis) (Cooper Convertible )
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove telematics CONTROL MODULE .
Removal:
Open lid (1) on telematics control module (2) and remove.
Disconnect plug.
Remove the emergency battery (1) from the telematics control module (2).
Installation:
Connect connector.
Insert the emergency battery (1) into telematics control module (2) and connect the connector.
NOTE:
Make sure the emergency battery and connector are correctly fitted.
Position and close lid (1) on telematics control module (2).
NOTE:
Make sure lid (1) is correctly fitted.
Required follow-up work:
- Install telematics CONTROL MODULE .
