51 31 284 Removing and installing/replacing - tailgate lower finisher

Open tailgate.

Remove finisher from retaining clips in the direction shown.

If a retaining clip breaks during removal of the finisher, replacement can be achieved as follows:

Body Clip:

Using a small screw, extract the locking pin (1) from the clip and remove clip (2).

Finisher Clip:

Press the clip in the direction shown and remove.
