63 21 176 Removing and installing/renewing chrome trim on left or right rear light

Special tools required:

00 9 325

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove left or right REAR LIGHT

Remove the cover of the water channel (1) on the latch mechanism (2) of the rear light (3) with 00 9 325 .

Remove the water channel cover (1) from the rear light (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Make sure the water channel cover (1) of the rear light (3) is correctly fitted.

Installation note:

The guides (1) and latch mechanisms (2) on the water channel cover (3) must not be damaged or missing.

Remove the screws (arrow) and remove the chrome trim (1) from the rear light (2).

Installation note:

Make sure the chrome trim (1) is correctly seated on the rear light (2).
