64 53 551 Removing and installing or replacing capacitor for heating and air conditioning system

Special tools required: 

WARNING:
IMPORTANT:

Risk of damage!

Restart engine only when A/C system has been correctly filled.

If the refrigerant circuit is opened for more than 24 hours: replace DESICCANT INSERT  for heating and air conditioning system.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Remove air ducts (1) on the left and right.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 64 53 01AZ .

Remove refrigerant lines (2) from condenser.

Installation note: 

Replace sealing rings.

Use special tool 00 9 030 to install sealing rings without damaging them.

Release screws (1).

Lift out capacitor (2).

After installation:
