51 47 030 Removing and installing/replacing rear left door sill cover strip

Special tools required:

00 9 325

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL
Disengage the END FITTING

Move front seat forwards/up completely.

Detach edge protection (1) in area of door sill cover strip.

Disengage the door sill cover strip (1) from the guides (2) and retaining lug (3) with the special tool 00 9 325 .

Release the door still cover strip (1) from the clips (2) in direction of arrow.

Carefully lever out door sill cover strip (1).

Installation note:

The guides (1) and retaining lug (2) from the trim panel (4) must not be damaged.

The clips (3) from the trim panel (4) must not be damaged or missing.

Replace faulty clips (3).
