11 74 508 Removing and installing/replacing pressure converter for exhaust turbocharger (N18)

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .

NOTE: Pressure converter is installed under intake plenum.

Illustration shows removed pressure converter (EPDW).

Disconnect vacuum lines on vacuum connection (1 and 2).

Disconnect plug connection on pressure converter (EPDW).

Installation note:

OUT connector (1) is identified with a green ring.

Installation note:

Vacuum line (1) is fitted with a green ring (OUT).

Vacuum line (2) without green ring (VAC).
