11 62 000 Removing and installing, sealing/replacing exhaust manifold (N16)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Move front end into ASSEMBLY POSITION .
• Remove EXHAUST SYSTEM .
• Remove both lambda oxygen sensors. See REMOVING/INSTALLING/REPLACING CONTROL SENSOR (N16)  and REMOVING/INSTALLING/REPLACING MONITOR SENSORS (N16) .
• Detach heat shield.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque: 11 62 2AZ .

Release all nuts (1).

Tightening torque: 11 62 1AZ .

Feed out exhaust manifold (1) downwards.

Installation note: 

Replace exhaust manifold gasket.

Assemble engine.
