11 13 020 Removing and installing/replacing lower oil sump section (S63 T 0)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

RELEASE OIL DRAIN PLUG and drain engine oil.

Unlock plug connection on oil level sensor and disconnect.

Release screws (1) along line.

Tightening torque 11 13 3AZ .

Remove lower oil sump section.

Installation note:

Clean sealing surfaces.

Replace gasket.

NOTE: When replacing oil sump bottom section:

Remount the oil condition sensor.
Renew the sealing ring of the oil condition sensor.
