61 12 013 Replacing negative battery lead

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove the RIGHT COWL PANEL COVER

Loosen nut (1). Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ .

Disconnect battery negative lead (3) from battery.

Version with intelligent battery sensor (IBS):: 

Detach plug connection from IBS.

Slacken nut (2). Tightening torque 61 21 4AZ .

Feed out battery negative lead (3) and remove.
