52 26 011 Removing and installing/replacing backrest for left rear seat (5-seater)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove REAR SEAT
- Partially remove the BACKREST COVER in the lower area
- Move center armrest forward
Installation note:
- Microencapsulated screws must be replaced and may not be reused.
- Screw connection must be completed within 20 minutes (start of hardening).
- Microencapsulated screws must not be retightened.
- Clean thread of nut in event of repeated use.
Unclip cover (1) for unlocking.
Installation note:
Retaining lugs must not be damaged.
If necessary, replace cover for unlocking.
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 52 26 12AZ .
Remove backrest (2) from seat frame.
Installation note:
Replace screws (1).
Replacement only:
- Remove complete BACKREST COVER
- Remove REAR PANEL
