65 77 720 Removing and installing/replacing left B-pillar sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE
- Remove rear side trim panel. See 51 43 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) REAR LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE TRIM PANEL or 51 47 151 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL (CLUBVAN) .
Release screw (1).
Remove sensor (2) from below and disconnect associated electrical connector.
Tightening torque 65 77 3AZ .
Installation note:
Retaining lug (3) must not be damaged.
Make sure sensor (2) is firmly seated.
