67 11 555 Removing and installing/replacing actuator drive for fuel filler flap

Special tools required:

Unclip trim (1) with special tool 00 9 340 and remove.

Installation note:

Retaining clips (2) must not be damaged.

Turn sleeve (1) with a suitable tool approx. 45° in direction of arrow and pull out of receptacle (2).

Installation note:

Slide sleeve (1) over fuel filler flap locking pin (2).

Make sure sleeve (1) is correctly engaged in cover housing (3).

Release screws (1).

Disconnect plug connection (2) and feed servomotor (3) together with holder out backwards.

Installation note:

Make sure metal tab (4) is correctly seated.

Installation note:

Connect locking pin (1) with suitable hose (2) and lead through opening in the fuel filler cap (3).

Replacement:

Slacken screws (1)

Remove actuator drive (2) from holder and pull off locking pin (4).

Feed out emergency release (3).
